A whole day of AcroYoga,. what more can one look forward to? Bringing together the healing touch of massage, the elongation and extensions of asana yoga and the will and determination of acrobatics. Tap into your light hearted self as well as your inner playful child. The day will be broken down with partner yoga and therapeutics in the morning whilst in the afternoon working on strength, core and your acrobatic potential. Don’t be put off by the word acrobatics I can assure you all skills and sequences are worked on progressively within the container of safety and joy. Come with an open mind and willingness to play.

UK retreat with Jaqui October 2011

A Yoga & AcroYoga Weekend with Jaqui

When: Friday 5pm 30th September to Sunday 3pm 2nd October 2011

Where: Chinmayi Retreat Center, located in Newton, Rugby Warwickshire.

Price: £200 (early bird discount of £25 if booked before the 1st August 2011)

This weekend is aimed as a 48hour opportunity to focus on your physical asana (posture) practice, in preparation for the coming autumn/winter months.   We together will emphases on strength and flexibility, as well as most definitely play and a lot of fun!!

The venue is beautiful space, located in central England, with a dedication as typified in its name Chimayi – bestower of bliss, to bring you out of your busy lives to just “check in”!

So what’s included in the price?

  • 10 hours plus of yoga / acroyoga instruction combined,
  • shared accommodation,
  • full board all meals included,
  • station transfers
  • limited to 10 students only.

    Japan Appeal: After The Event

    After the event – Japan Disaster Appeal

    What an afternoon! I was completely blown away by both the turn out and energy of the participants and teachers.  It was a great success and a testament to how ideas can be manifested into action and with collaborative effort, bring about all manor of infinite possibilities. Our event auspiciously coincided with the waning moon, which gave all of us the opportunity to reflect and consolidate, as well as reboot and consider new beginnings.

    A big thank you to:-

    • Idir Talbi for instigating the idea.
    • All the teachers and gifted yoga practitioners who led the Sun Salutations, providing much needed energy and inspiration.
    • Takako Yoshihara and Naomi Hawkes for their meticulous counting skills.
    • Vaclav Elias for sorting out the fab cakes, pictures and added humour during the Sun Salutations.
    • Staff @ LA Fitness West India Quay for supporting and agreeing to host this event.
