This workshop is a collaboration with Bhee Lumbania and Jaqui Wan.  Drawn from our workshop offerings at the recent European Acrobatics Festival this past October 2021.

We present a series of L basing flows that will aim to playfully challenge same size duos.  There will not be any whips or pops but there will be a series of transitions that will require footwork and body precision, as well as negotiating the giving and receiving of weight to allow for cohesive collaboration.

Our aim is to encourage exuberant connections, explore your acrobatic partnerships and potential and experience the joy of attempting to base and fly everything.

Requirements: –

  • Being able to base and fly star and reverse star;
  • Have a familiarity with at least three washing machines and or a flying sequence with at least ten transitional moves; and
  • A willingness to base and fly all our sequences.

You can come on your own or come as an acro duo.

Safety Protocol

What is AcroYoga Asana?

There are two AcroYoga Asana in the AcroYoga International tradition. There is the Solar Asana, this is a dynamic sequence that has strength elements, conditioning and inversions to prepare the body for an acrobatic practice.  Whilst the Lunar Asana brings about listening qualities and being present both essential mental and physical well being, probably ideal for these volatile times.
