Immersion Flyer

AcroYoga blends the wisdom of yoga, the dynamic power of acrobatics, and the loving kindness of the healing arts. These three lineages form the foundation of a practice that cultivates trust, playfulness, and community.

This 5 day / 30 hour Immersion introduces the full range practice of AcroYoga. The mindfulness of yoga creates a steady foundation from which to explore the dynamism of acrobatics and the loving kindness of Thai massage. The interplay of all three disciplines will empower everyone to embody the practice with grace, ease, and joy.

Skills covered:

  • Lunar & Solar Asana
  • Supine & Prone Thai Massage
  • Forward & Backward Therapeutic Flying
  • Spotting & Inversions
  • Acrobatic Training Techniques & Flying Transitions

  • This immersion is not residential (accommodation and meals not included)
  • You are advised to have your own copy of the ‘Elements of AcroYoga’ manual
  • The full 30 hours fulfils a prerequisite for the AcroYoga Teacher Training
  • Open to all levels and no partner required

 

 

 

AcroYoga Play Days in Godstone 2017/18

When: 

  • Sunday 12 November 2017: 10am – 4.30pm
  • Sunday 4th February 2018: 10am – 4.30pm
  • Sunday 4th March 2018: 10am – 4.30pm

Where: St Nicolas Hall, Godstone, RH9 8DT

Cost:  Early Bird £40 (£25 half day) for bookings made two weeks before the event or there after £50 (£30 half day).  All bookings are made with Annabel Broom.

Our ongoing play dates in Godstone is open to all. Come and share your day with a regular and growing crew of big kids to explore the themes of connection and collaboration to build their playing potential

Flyer 2017-18

We plan on getting you into your bodies with a yoga warm up sequence, maybe we will expand with partner stretches or discover your healing hands and feet through flying therapeutics or which is often more the case find your acrobatic bodies with handstands and acrobatic flying sequences, all is possible. Come with an open mind and continue the play.

There will be a 45-60min lunch break please bring a packed lunch. For info, chocolate buttons have become the Godstone standard sugar & energy supplement.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations 7 or more days prior to the start of the event will be issued a refund less an administrative fee of £10.

No refunds, no transfers, and no credits for cancellations within 7 days of workshop start date.

No refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete the workshop.
